In August 2024, a devastating flood severely affected people’s lives in several districts across Bangladesh. In response to the flood crisis, SHN employees donated one-day’s salary to the Principal Staff Officer of the Armed Forces Division via pay order to support the flood-affected communities. SHN also handed over emergency relief supplies to the Area Commander of the Bangladesh Army, Cumilla Region. Additionally, with the help of the Bangladesh Army and the Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer, SHN organized medical camps in Feni and Chowmuhani, offering free healthcare services and medicines to flood-affected people. The support now continues at clinic level in the flood-affected areas.
