The Company complements government efforts in the areas of TB screening, EPI and Covid-19 vaccination efforts. Job Summary:

The Senior/ Officer – IT will be responsible for supporting the Head of IT in all aspects of IT operations within the SHN network that includes procurement and maintenance of IT related equipment’s and supplies, support the preparation of MIS, Administrative and other reports, trouble shooting, web site management, set up computers and provide IT orientation to new employees, ensure back up support, software development when needed etc.

Relationships:

Directly reports to Head of IT.

Other major interactions: HQ employees, Clinic Manager and Officer, Accounts and Admin.

RESPONSIBLE FOR
Support in Network Administration & Maintenance:
  • Monitor and maintain organizational Local Area Network (LAN) System and Microsoft Windows applications.
  • Configure servers, firewall, switches, and other networked equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical computer-related problems including software, hardware, and network maintenance issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve end-user network or local printer problems, PC hardware problems and e-mail, internet, remote access, and local-area network access problems.
  • Maintain record of data communication transactions, problems and remedial action taken, and installation activities.
Support in Server & System Administration:
  • Maintain, patch, and upgrade servers, operating systems, databases, printers, laptops, and desktop computers.
  • Perform regular backup of data, restores, and performs disaster recovery. Ensure up-to-date virus protection.
  • Safeguard and ensure the integrity of computer systems. Ensure data security.
User Management & Support:
  • Add and terminate system users as needed; assigning rights and access to the system; resetting passwords.
  • Travel to clinics for troubleshooting of IT-related issues.
IT Operations & Support:
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate recordkeeping, mail distribution, telephone operations, and other office support services.
  • Maintain inventory of IT supplies and equipment.
  • Liaison with IT contracted firms to ensure prompt resolution of hardware and software-related problems at clinic levels.
  • Prepares IT reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Perform tasks related to scheduled service requests, including equipment replacement, equipment installation/de‐installation, and software installation and updates.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience with Linux, Cisco Devices and Windows Server.
  • Should have experience with LAN/WAN management, IPTSP System, Attendance device management. Wi-Fi device, CCTV, DVR & IP Camera management.
  • Must have a clear knowledge of IP networks and data communication
  • Should have knowledge of Hardware, Software, Printers (Network), Scanner, UPS (Online and Offline), network upgrades, installation, re-installation, changes and re-locations
  • A good understanding of general IT products, peripherals and technologies including Internet, servers and network technologies (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VPN)
  • Experience in ISP/ IT Company/ Large Corporate House highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability in verbal and written English and Bangla, lead presentations, training courses, and meetings
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Bangladesh.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree/ 04 Years Diploma in a relevant field.
