Officer/ Senior Officer, HR

OVERVIEW

Surjer Hashi Network (SHN) is a not-for-profit company. Its mission is to offer high quality, customer-oriented and affordable healthcare services for all Bangladeshis, while its vision is to grow into a sustainable enterprise.  Although it primarily aims to serve the underprivileged, SHN is committed to improving the health and welfare of all groups irrespective of their income, gender, and age. With a focus on mother and child healthcare, and family planning, SHN is gradually expanding into general health services. The Company complements government efforts in the areas of TB screening, EPI and Covid-19 vaccination efforts. To lead this challenging journey Surjer Hashi Network invites applications from competent and potential talents for the above position to be located at SHN Headquarters.

Relationships:

  • Reports to Manager, HR
  • Other major interactions: In-Charge, HR & OD, SDS, Manager/ Deputy Manager, Clinic Managers, Officer-Accounts and Admin.

RESPONSIBLE FOR
  • Contribute to the process of recruitment and selection as per plan to meet the organizational workforce demand.
  • Entry new joining data in HRIS and update changes related to contract period, transfer, confirmation or promotion and separation.
  • Issue appointment/ contract letters, as applicable.
  • Maintain the employee file and necessary documentation.
  • Review employee time sheets for the assigned clinics/ regions.
  • Implement training and development initiatives, as applicable.
  • Carryout policy & process orientations for building awareness among all employees, as applicable.
  • Strengthen rapport with the employees through meeting with and visiting the offices/ clinics as per plan.
  • Ensure monthly HR reporting.
  • Practice and promote SHN values.
  • Carry out any other task as assigned by the supervisor.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience in handling talent acquisition and HR operations.
  • Excellent skill in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Well conversant about Bangladesh labor law 2006.
  • Strong technical skills required along with independent thinking and problem-solving.
  • A willingness to travel extensively.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • BBA from any relevant discipline, major in HRM will be given preference.
